Who Is Asowhite Jodan?

Born as Asobo Nkeng on January 10, 1992, in Pinyin, Santa Subdivision of Cameroon’s North West Region, Asowhite Jordan’s story begins with a mother’s love and life’s earliest lessons. In the farms of Pinyin, his mother taught him more than just cultivation – she planted seeds of faith through their daily work and worship.

Together, they would share songs while farming, turning labor into moments of praise. These precious times with his mother, though cut short by her passing during his childhood, formed the foundation of his understanding that music could transform any moment into worship. Her legacy lived on as young.

Asowhite found solace in singing, discovering that the same songs that once accompanied their farm work could now carry his prayers and heal his grief. This deep, personal understanding of music’s power to comfort and connect would shape him into a minstrel who knows that every note can be a testimony, every lyric a lifeline to someone in need.
